This new unique primitive/country style wood Chicken House/Coop , is designed and handcrafted by seller. Designed to resemble an actual southern chicken coop, it is finished in a distressed weatd white on all 4 sides, inside and out to create an aged appearance. It measures 11.5" wide x 7.25" deep x 5.25" high. The shed-style roof is finished in flat black and also distressed. The interior has a double decker nesting box attached to the left rear inside wall by the side door and has room for up to 4 nests. You can be creative by adding nests, eggs and miniature chickens. The bottom is open for easy access. (hint--navy beans are ideal as mini hen eggs.) The front has a chicken entrance door with an old plank style ramp and 2 large windows with mini rust-finished chicken wire allowing an easy view of the interior nesting box. The permanently attached chicken pen has 5 handcrafted rustic posts , rust-finished chicken wire fence and a base finished in dark green with a sprinkle of tan paint for a grass & soil effect. The left side has an entrance door complete with steps. The front and both sides have been grooved to simulate old plank siding. A clip-in cord with an in-line switch and bulb is included.
