Prim Blessings, Carol **Rusty Rooster Primitives ** ************************** Hello friends...I've been away from Ebay, all summer...have been busy, with home improvements, yard and garden, working..and just trying to enjoy the little bit of nice weather we've had in the Ohio valley...it's been a short summer...the weather hasn't been good to us this year !!..hope the winter isn't as bad!! I'm slowly getting back to my craft.. and will be listing fall and holiday items asap... ******************* I'm just finished this cute & extra primitive wooden candle sconce, that looks like an old grain scoop..I've distressed it some, to give it more of an old worn look..T is a 5" tall orange flame flicker candlestick in the middle, I added some spanish moss, fall colored berry sprigs..A little pumpkin and gourd....Lot's of black and cream colored pip berrys..with a few rusty stars and t.My camera didn't take good photos...colors are much to brite...they are more natural in color...than they appear.. This can be used for both a fall or halloween decoration, I made up two different aged tags...one for fall.. "Welcome Fall" and the other for Halloween.. with a verse that reads... "On Hallow's Eve, when the Moon is bright, ''Witchs gather bye Candle Light"... The back is notched out, for the cord, which is long and has an off-on inline switch.. The sconce measures..12" high including the handle, 5" across front and 4 3/4" deep... Sure to be a unique and wonderful primitive touch for your Fall and Holloween decorating... ************************************** A Little About Me...... I've been crafting and sewing for about 35 ++ yrs,.. way back when 'crafting' wasn't a popular art form, the biggies then were..dish towel dolls, and pom-pom thingies, foam fridge magnets +tye dye t-shirts.... (hee,hee) .. Wow... a lot has changed since then, thank goodness...I've dabbled in all sorts of crafty things, and am always on the look out for something new to try, but primitive crafting has my heart now, it takes me back to a more practical time, and simple way of life, w everything meant something to some one.. and nothing was wasted... I can only imagine what the that simple life was like..thru our primitive crafting ,we can bring a bit of the simple way of life back, into our own busy and sometimes hectic lives, even if only for a few quiet moments, it's a sweet craft !! All of my handmade items are crafted with care from the 'heart', I take pride in everything I create, I would not offer anything to you, that I wouldn't have in my own home..
