Uncle Sam 15 in. finished doll with goat and liberty bell.� This auction is for the finished dolls.Thank you very much for stopping by to see my latest creation. The Americana themed set will make a wonderful addition to a collection. � This uncle Sam doll measures 15 in. from the top of his hat to the bottom of his painted on boots. He is 7 in. across the shoulder arm area. � His body is lightly weighted to give him substance. � This doll is made with osnaburg fabric and is painted with acrylic paints and artist's pencils. His nose is needle sculpted. His face is sprayed with a sealer to protect the colors. His boots and hands are lightly sanded to give them an aged appearance. He has a full head of hair and beard with mustache needle felted in place. His boots are painted and have shoe laces with bells sewn on. His pants are made with nice Americana fabric and are hand gathered around his boots with bells at the sides. Sam wears a coat made with denim fabric. It has red wool felt tabs with bells stitched to the front. The coat is hand hemmed in contrasting thread. He wears a red wool felt hat with band and bell stitched to it.
