The Primitive Chandlerpresents:Cherry Vanilla a tiny lady bug and her humming bird,Sonat Description Meet Cherry Vanilla. It is still quite summer and the lady bugs are all around me.I love how they look and their purpose to protect our beautiful gardens. is my latest inspiration. It comes from the fabric I used to make her wings, I just LOVE the wing fabric so much.She reminds me of Cherry Vanilla ice cream. I took mostly indoor photos, I like it, different look.She is cream, black and deep red in color. Her paisley fabric wings, remind me of the days gone by with family picnics, parties and holidays. Cherry is made of osnaburg from my own original design. She is 5" tall sitting and is fully jointed and posable. Her outfit is painted in soft cream, sanded, then lady bug spots added. Her antennae are rusty wire with a twist at the ends. Her face is soft sculpted and pastels for her soulful blue eyes, then sealed for added protection. Her mouth is embroidered. I added a rusty heart necklace with a bell, and tiny bells to her mary janes.She holds in her hand one of her favorite friends, Sonat, the hummingbird.
