This 16" painted cloth angel doll was made with no pattern, just kept working on her until I was satisfied with the look. Her hair is textured with a stucco product and then painted. The cloth face, body, hands and legs are painted, sanded, aged and varnished. Clothes are felted wool. The halo is a vintage tinsel stem that has been bent to form and attached with a single stich so it can be arranged or removed. The wings are vintage rayon chenille stems, sewn on and topped with a button. The button on the front of her dress is a wonderful vintage glass button. The sign is wool felt that has embroidered with the word Peace and then grunged. The green hanger is wool that has been felted. Finally, a sprig of vintage flowers were sewn on. While the tinsel on the bottom of her dress is not vintage I trimed, painted, grunged, and sealed it to look vintage. I hope you like this green eyed beauty.
