Oh my does time go quickly......It's almost Christmas....and times running out....I am so happy to finally finish this sweet and simple santa.....sometimes simplicity says it all. This skinny little fellow standing 20 inches tall including hat wants to get that point across...His only concern for you this Christmas season is Joy....Joy to the world! I am so tickled that I had the chance to sit down and create warm hearted santa... the chances are becoming few and far between...I will try to get a few more out before mid November, but no guarrantee. I must say I love the vintage look and it's my goal to make them look genuine...So each doll is made with mostly vintage textiles, then specially aged. This I believe adds so much character and depth....I love remembering simpler times...it warms my heart. I love it when my dolls look 100 years old and like they've just been discovered up in Granny's attic. This gentleman is quality made to be passed down to the next generation.....hmmm....good idea. I just love his caring compassionate expression....Kind of gives off a gentle peace. His jacket is made of a vintage piece of textured bedspread spruced up with a variety of vintage shell buttons and a special vintage rhinestone button.
