Linen has been the favored choice of sampler makers for the past four centuries due to its extreme strength and durability. I have stitched this sampler on 28 count linen that was aged. I designed the sampler but I used an authentic name from an actual sampler done in that time. It is framed under glass in a 13” by 13” black wood frame. I’ve used the colors of deep gold, mauve, brown, tan and olive green. This will come to you signed and dated by me.
