Primitive Needle Punch - Mini Hooked Rug An original design by a U.S. needlepunch artist, done in Vildani floss, with lots of prim details on this whimsical Trick or Treat piece. Dressed in his Halloween finery (including a fuzzy pompom atop his party hat) and carrying a jack-o-lantern treat basket, Mr. Cat prepares to head out under the stars for an evening of Trick or Treating. The 9" square needle punch piece is meticulously punched and then whipstitched in soft, grey-taupe wool to a felted wool backing. The artist embroidered her initials and date on the back, on a felted wool, whipstitched star. Display on an easel (not included) or frame. I bought this from the artist several years ago, planning to frame it -- the piece is in like-new condition and has never been displayed. All my items are from a smoke-free home.
