PRIMitiVE~FOLK Art~SAMpleREARLY STyle!ABC's and fine stitching~1825 REPRODUCTIONUp for auction this week I have a wonderful FOLK ART primitive style reproduction sampler. It is definitely an early style reproduction, like one made by a young lady of olden times. It is 22" by 10", and framed in a black painted wood frame. It has the ABC's in capital and small lettering, with the words " Clara Smith the daughter of Reuel Smith and Judith his wife, born on the 2nd day of May, 1895, in Addison Vermont, stitched through out the sampler, with rows of pine tree branches or boughs, and spring time looking pine cones in between. The stitching is dark green, black, and brown. It is all done in primitive stitching, with grudging on canvas type aged linen, very heavily grudged with lots of old style stitching. It is a great reproduction sampler, to grace your prim home. This one is by far, the most beautiful example of folk art samplers, I have offered. Thank you for looking, and check out my other listings for combined shipping savings.Check out my other items !Vintage items are listed as pre-owned, and not new.
