[zipedit] I have a sweet set of snow dolls wearing rhinestone jewelry for you to consider tonight. Mama snow measures 18” tall and lil snow measures 12” tall. Mama snow is made from aged osnaburg with a stuffed, sculpted, painted and aged carrot nose. Her cap, dress and pantaloons are made from a vintage chenille, With aged fur sewn around the edges. Her cap has a aged crumpled ribbon tied in a bow at the tip. Her scarf is cut from a vintage hand crocheted table cloth. At the knot of her scarf is a vintage ( art deco ?) pin, very pretty. It is missing a couple of small stones but that just adds to her character. If you would like to wear it yourself it is easily removed. Her boots have been painted and aged with a aged crumpled ribbon bow sewn on top each boot. Rusty pinned to her sleeve is a vintage looking tag, very cute. I have signed and dated the back of the tag. Lil snow is made from wool felt with a hand stitched face and a dried carrot nose. Her cap is the same as mama snow. Lil snow is also wearing a scarf cut from a old table cloth. I have sewn a rhinestone button at the knot of her scarf. She also has 3 rhinestone buttons down her tummy. Rusty pinned to her arm is a tag that reads LIL SNOW, I have signed and dated the back. I have dusted this pair with cinnamon and old time mica flakes for the vintage sparkle. read more
