Primitive~ ST. Valentine~ Keeper of the Hearts~ Lamb~ St.Valentine~ Keeper of the Hearts~ is an 1897 House exclusive and is Part of my Farmhouse collection. I just love the dark warm look and I took great pains to give him that OLDE look we all love. St. Valentine is dressed in a gown and hood made from vintage stained and baked flannel. Its a deep grungy dark red and very stained and crusty. His face is very prim with a pinched nose, raised eye brows and penciled blk eyes. Again, I worked hard to keep his face very simple and prim. His scraggly beard is wool. Mounted on an antique bobbin, he stands a majestic 27 inches tall and about 5 inches wide. He has sticks hands. Hanging across hs body you will find a really neat hand dyed DARK RED wool bag with wool hearts in dark red and browns primitively stitched on the front. It is very rich looking. It is filled with sweet annie and prim sticks scented with cinnamon. St. Valentine carries a walking stick with a hand dyed dark red wool heart at the tip and a grungy hang tag that says LOVE. St Valentine has a little prim lamb mounted on a piece of wood and a stick. I have attached moss to the stand. The lamb has a primitively stitched penny rug blanket and a wool heart hanging from rusty wire from his mouth. St Valentine is a very Prim fellow indeed. A PERFECT addition to any prim doll
