I am selling an original mid 20th Century Watercolour of Corfu Houses, Greece by the listed British artist Primrose Harley (1908 - 1978) Primrose Harley was married to the important landscape gardener Lanning Harley and they both often collaborated together. Harley was an Illustrator of children's books and a successful painter with works included in several national public collections. Image Size: 24 x 33 cm (approx.) The work is in excellent condition with bright colours. It is unsigned, but has the location Corfu written in the artists hand lower right The work is painted on buff C M fabriano watermarked laid paper and comes unmounted and unframed and will look amazing once mounted and displayed. I have tried to describe the watercolour as accurate and to the best of my ability, but i am no expert.
