Tonight I offer you this fabulous dress created especially for the Franklin Mint 'PRINCESS OF STYLE' Porcelain doll. It also comes with a great clutch purse of matching fabric. As you can see, the Princess of Style totally rocks this dress! The doll shown is NOT included in the auction..this is for the dress and purse only.It is Velcro adjustable in tabs down the front, so it can be set to fit the "Elvis" doll also. Any of the smaller & similar build dolls could easily work this dress. I tried to give you the room to be more versatile with the different dolls.However, I chose the Princess of Style for this dress specifically. Aside from those gorgeous, slim shoulders, my doll's head appears to tilt down quite far and this particular design visually lifts her head so now you can see her pretty face! It's an optical illusion but the design works. Almost 10 years ago this was listed as Lot #31 at Christie's Auction..it was one of the dresses Diana wore in private and until recently, was seen only a few times in rare photographs. Thanks to the Testino portraits, this dress has quickly become a favorite.An absolutely gorgeous shade of long pile, green velour..it is so soft you think you are touching velvet!
