This auction is for a set of all-season serving dishes, perfect for the buffet table or breakfast bar! It features a metal deer into which sits a white ceramic serving bowl, and a metal sleigh into which sits a white ceramic serving platter. The deer stands about 10 inches tall at the antlers and is about 10 inches long from tip of nose to tail. The sleigh measures 13 inches long by about 9 inches wide. The metal on both pieces is finished in a softly shiny bronze color – very rich and versatile for most decors. Please Note: The dish that sets into the back of the deer is included in this auction – it just didn’t make it in time for the photos. It perfectly matches the white platter that sits on the sleigh. The set includes some ribbon and clips to hold the ribbon on the metal so you can entwine it any way you like. You can change the look for each season by adding different colored ribbons, perhaps faux ivy or faux flowers/leaves. A wonderful set for the experienced hostess because of its versatility! I wouldn’t trust the serving dishes to the dishwasher – I’d recommend hand washing. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, or discolorations on either of these lovely pieces.
