This is a fine headrest from Ethiopia . Has a good patina. Finely engraved base and edges of the top. The form is sophisticated and symmetrical and it is i n immaculate condition. The surface of the wood is softly patinated. Made from an attractive African hardwood, with ebony tones. Underneath the base is a large scooping bowl. In very good condition.
