This is a Stanley Bailey No 4 Smoothing Plane in pristine condition. The logo on the cutter indicates this was a plane manufactured and sold by Stanley dealers from 1935 until 1944. I don't believe the plane has been used more than 2 or 3 times. T are some very minor scratches on the sole plate and the cutter has never been sharpened. The black finish is 100 % intactand the knob and tote arte in perfect condition. This plane is 8 3/8 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide and weighs 3 lbs 8 ounces. It has a 2 inch cutter. A beautiful addition to any collection. The buyer pays for shipping, packaging, delivery confirmation and insurance. The seller only accepts payment to PAY PAL or by POSTAL MONEY ORDER.
