Beautiful Restored Retro Zenith AM/FM Tube Radio Plays Great! This is an exremely clean brown and white plastic Zenith AM/FM tube radio Model Y723 (circa 1956) which looks beautiful and plays great. The design of this radio reflects Zenith's efforts to achieve a modern "Machine Age" look, similar to its late 1940's and early 1950's sets, without offending its traditional customers. The on/off switch/volume control and tuning condenser have been cleaned and lubricated. The band selector switch has been replaced with a NOS, Zenith unit and its trouble-prone selenium rectifier has been replaced with a modern, reliable diode. The cabinet is very glossy and in superb condition with no chips, cracks or breaks.
