The collection was authorized by The College of Arms Trust and was issued in Celebration of the 1200th Anniversary of the First Coronation in 787AD. Sole distributor: Danbury Mint, Cox Lane, Chessington, Surrey. * The issue price of these medals was £26.46 each! ON THE BACK OF THE 22 CARAT GOLD PLATED SOVEREIGN IS THAT SOVEREIGN'S ROYAL COAT OF ARMS. It is gilt sterling silver, weighs 4.4 grams and is 21.5mm in diameter. It is encapsulated for easy viewing.
