Hello, and Thanks Very Much For Looking. I Was Recently Invited to Bid On, and Was Fortunate to be Able to Purchase an Extensive Collection of Golf Clubs and Related Items Being Sold By the Family of Don Shock. Don Was The Golf Pro at Columbus (Ohio) Country Club for OVER 40 Years. He Was Instrumental In Bringing The National P.G.A. Tournament to C.C.C. in 1964, and Personally Played in The National P.G.A. FOUR Times. He Played in Over 200 P.G.A. Tour Events, and Was A Very Fine Player. Don is Now in Failing Health and Living on Florida's Gulf Coast. These Items Have Been In Climate Controlled Storage For About 10 Years, and as a Result A Few of The "Vintage" Clubs That Don Collected Have GatheredSome Rust, Especially Old Wedges That Were Used Extensively. I Have NOT Done ANY Cosmetic Cleaning Other Than Necessary For Pictures. This Group is Probably Less Than 50 Clubs. There Are Several Sets of Woods and Irons, Plus A FewPutters That HAVE NEVER BEEN USED!! Some Even Have The Retail Price Tags On Them. A Great Many of These Clubs Were Don's PERSONAL Clubs He Played With. Probably 40 Woods- 50 Putters- and 10 Wedges Have His Name Band On Them. Another Group of About 75 Clubs were In Boxes Marked as Don's Personal, but I Will Not List Them As Such Without His Name Band. I Am Going To List About 80% of This Entire Collection At Auction. read more
