Prussian Garde du Corps Brass Parade Helmet This wonderful helmet is an 1867 design enlisted man's model. This model has the stepped front visor with square edges and the "lobster tail" rear visor.The kokarde on the right side is white and black and the left side is white, red and black. The underside of the front visor is painted green while the rear underside visor is painted black. T is a "15" stamped on the right left rear side and a name label on the underside toward the front. The eagle finial is attached to the top of the helmet by a threaded carriage bolt and wing nut.The crown atop the eagle finial is attached via a threaded screw.Pleaseemail any questions prior to placing a bid.
