This listing is for a PT-19 control line model airplane kit from Black Hawk Models. THIS KIT DOES NOT CONTAIN AN ENGINE, PAINT OR GLUE. This kit has a “hollow log” style fuselage like we used to build and fly back in the 60’s. It uses an 049 glow engine for power. Black Hawk Kits are built in the USA by veterans. The Fairchild PT-19 was one of a handful of primary trainer designs that were the first stop on a cadet's way to becoming a combat pilot. Inexpensive, built mostly of wood and fabric, it was simple to maintain and easy to fly. The PT-19 was a part of every WWII pilot's training. By war's end, over 8000 had been produced. The Black Hawk Models PT-19 faithfully captures the lines of this classic bird and shares the same easy to fly characteristics of its big brother.
