PT Barnum Signed / Autographed 1889 Vanity Fair Print Matted Framed Signature.This print & signature has been in my collection for years. It was professionally matted/framed in the early 80s and has a period frame. Signature is dated and signed Bridgeport CT Dec. 19, 1888 by Barnum, and has just slight fading, but still strong. Original framer attached a biography page on the back, and a certificate of authenticity for the print.I will not send this for third party grading, as they will insist on removing it from the frame, which I do not want. The signature is 100% spot on Barnum period signature, with the ink fading you would expect from a 130 yr old ink. I asked for an opinion from Beckett and they agreed it is "Likely Genuine".Measures ~22"x16" Framed.No Returns.
