This ancient coin of Ptolemy I is entirely uncleaned and is just as dug. It's considerably better in the hand, than in the photos, but is 17mm across, with a weight of 3.9g. The obverse depicts a deified Alexander the Great and the reverse has an eagle with open wings, perched on a thunderbolt. Perhaps the coin might benefit from very careful cleaning and conservation to reveal further detail. This ancient colonial Roman coin is bound to be a bargain for one keen bidder and will be carefully packed for the first class post. Please have a look at other items I have listed. Combined postage is very welcome and each question will receive a prompt reply.
