This beautiful " Pure Country" belt buckle, made by Award Design Metals, Noble Oklahoma, has been in my George Strait collection for years - strictly as a collectible. George's movie "Pure Country" was released in 1992. After that his career really took off, and as a long time fan it's been a great ride. I was at the final filming of the movie in Las Vegas, and am in the audience scenes at the Mirage, and so this buckle was special to me. The pictures pretty much say it all, this is a gorgeous buckle. If you want to see the original larger pictures e-mail me, they do show more detail. This item has never been worn, is like new, beautifully designed in gold and silver plate with black edging - see pictures. It's still in it's original silver colored box, and has been safely stored in one of my collectible cases. The buckle is 2-3/4" from top to bottom x approx. 3-3/4" and would fit around a 1-1/4" to almost a 1-1/2" wide belt. I almost let this buckle go a few years back but because it's such a good looking buckle, and a great George Strait collectible I just couldn't do it. Now I'm at the point in my life w I need to make some changes, and some room. I offer this "Pure Country" Western belt buckle for bid, hoping it will find it's way to a real Strait fan who will put it to good use and wear it well, hopefully to a George Strait read more
