Unusual find! PURE OIL SIGN GUARANTEED ORIGINAL 1950-60s! Just the size we like - 20&5/8 inches wide x 11&3/8 inches tall. Appears to be porcelin over metal. This sign found as UNUSED OLD STOCK still with the original packaging paper on it. Unfortunitly the paper stuck over the years to it, we removed it by soaking in mild dish liquid and hot water. As evidenced in photo #1 and closeup photo #3 the paper seemed to make discolored imprints to surface. Has some recent handling scapes most noticeably above word "oil" and letter "s", to right of question mark and below letter "P". Photo #2 shows back with age surface rust - guess this photo and discription really proves that this is ORIGINAL! Makes a great display as it is, these signs are getting harder to find! The nice feature is that this sign was never exposed to outside hanging - has NO dings, w most others experienced pellet shots!
