For sale in this auction is one attractive and good-sized piece of 99.9+% pure Samarium . It's from a larger ingot, a product of distillation. This is crystalline and classic in its form for this difficult to find "rare earth." Speaking of that, we've all heard lately how much rare earths have the potential for going well up in value, as the world's major source is now China. And China skillfully regulates how much is on the market. See the high res scan; it shows my hand holding the pieces from the larger ingot. The ad title describes the size of this particular piece.
