Up for auction is a very nice 5c trade stimulator called the Puritan Bell. It was manufactured in 1926 by the Mills Novelty Company. It is a three reel standard slot symbols trade stimulator.This game plays well. You put in a nickel, push down the handle, and the reels spin. Any winning payoff as shown by the award card would be paid by the location operator. The reels spin quickly, freely, and long with nice The profit sharing device does direct the coins to both the front drawer and the back cabinet to pay both the location and device owners. The cabinet has no cracks and displays beautifully. The two back doors are reproductions but fit well and do lock in place. Keys and locks for both doors work. The front door is original and the key did work the lock at one time (I know because I have opened it many times) but does not do so now. The key turns in the lock but does not open it. You will need to fiddle with this for awhile, but it should eventually work.Overall, this is a very nice looking and smooth playing 90 year old trade stimulator!The pictures are of the item you are bidding on.
