is a very well cleaned and freshly seasoned Puritan No. 8 size Cast Iron Chicken Frying Skillet with Smoke Ring, made by Griswold I think but I'm not sure of that--I use these for cooking, not collecting. I am selling several other just as fine pieces this week to thin out the Cast Iron Herd in the kitchen. All these pieces were completely decarbonized and cleaned by soaking in lye and have had limited cooking in them so they still need further seasoning to totally darken them up but you're not going to get any of them any smoother or more prepared for cooking than they are as-is. All three have are free of any pitting (unless you want to get microscopic about it) and all three lie flat without warping.Each piece is being sold individually but any two or all three are purchased by the same buyer I will combine actual shipping weight to save on shipping. So I will send a modified invoice to the buyer if necessary which includes the shipping discount in case the calculator doesn't include the proper discounts (I have them coded into the calculator but I don't know if it will perform properly since I've never actually had anyone use it on a combined purchase).What you see is what you get: Puritan Chicken Fryer Cast Iron Skillet w/Smoke Ring: Puritan on top of back 8 ½ on bottom of back No marks on handle 9A on inside surface of lid.
