This is a 8.1 gram piece of purple lavender base lab created opal.It is 45x15x8mm.This is lab grown opal that is grown to 80% maturity then stabilised with resin just like they use in Turqouise.When you saw this material you can smell the resin but you can't smell the resin when using diamond wheels in water.I cut lots of this material and love it.This material does not crack or craze.The opal flashes multiple directions just like real opal.
