This auction is for an pre-owned, unused, never on a stove, Mackenzie Childs Courtly Check teakettle. It is near perfect condition, no chips or nicks to body, but small chip to enamel on lid, the part that goes inside kettle. (see picture). This does not show, and may have been a factory defect. I would touch it up with a bit of paint to protect metal underneath. Twelve point gauge steel underbody with hand painted checks and ceramic glaze, rimmed in bronzed stainless steel and wood handle. Lid is topped with brass accents, bone disk, and carved faux-cinnabar bead. 3 Quart capacity 13" to top of handle, 9" across bottom. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended to prolong finish. Imported. $108 retail cost. Buyer to pay actual shipping charge, NO handling fees.
