No reserve auction for four used, test-as-new GEKT-88 tubes. Mutual conductance as measured on my recently calibrated B&K Dynajet 747 tube tester as follows: 104, 107, 113, 116. (under 55 = bad), no leakage or shorts. In addition, I test ran these as two matched (within 10%) pairs in my audio mono amps for about 200 hours. These Solid plate KT-88 are amoungst the most highly regarded of new production KT-88 tubes. These are more commonly sold as Penta branded KT-88. Tubes sound great running in-circuit, however one issue with them. I have two mono amps each running two of these tubes, each with bias meter. One tube would periodically show no reading for current on the bias meter. Amp would still be running and sounding fine. Wiggle the tube in the socket would usually make the problem go away and bias would read as normal. Switched sides with the tube, and had the same issue. So, not sure of the problem, I would suspect poor connection on one of the pins on one tube. I marked this tube with an "X" on the tube. Other than that, these tubes look and test as new, with extremely low hours on them. Shipping will be a flat rate of $9.99 to US addresses only, and includes insurance.
