For auction is this great vintage collectible Austrian lighter music box dated from 1955 but the insert suggests could be from 1950. The lighter does have a good spark and has a wheel and flint mechanism. The lighter stands on top of the music box, which plays when it is lifted once having been wound and the key is located under the music box base. I do not know if the music movement is Austrian or Swiss. The base of the lighter and music box has stamped "Made in Austria Eos Pat.Pending". The side of the lighter has the Austrian eagle emblem and side of the music box is inscripted with "Davis - Cup 1955 England - Austria.". The base has also a piece of paper that may tell you what music it is, one I recognise but cannot recall the title. The measurements are the music base is just under 3.5ins length, just over 2ins depth, just over 1.25ins height. Overall the lighter and music box are in very good condition and great for the collector. The lighter has not been tested with fuel, therefore, is sold as seen so please ask questions and look at the pictures as I also have a policy of no returns.
