Up for bids..... Estate Sale find from two days ago. Here is this Finely crafted Festooned Ocean Coral Necklace and its matching comb. The Necklace measures about 17" Long and the Comb measures 4" across at its widest point. It does look like it has some Gold Content, however, I can NOT find any markings on it anywhere, I tested the metal and it tests 18K. PLEASE study ALL of the pictures and note that they each have issues that I DO believe a skilled Jewelry would be able to repair. The Comb has 2 missing tiny balls and one of the tear drops is cracked a little at the top, it is missing a finishing cap on the framework. The framework on the comb rotates up and down to accommodate one's hair. Now for the Necklace: I see very minor issues and that is a tiny ball is missing on left flowerette and a tiny ball is missing on the right flowerette, one of the tear drops has a tiny crack at the top. Here is what I am thinking: You find a good Jeweler that knows what he is doing and he could use two of the 'balls' from the comb and place them where the two are missing on the necklace. One of the 'good' tear drops from the comb can also be transferred to the necklace. These are STUNNING, even with the Condition issues and the Framework tests 18K Gold.
