RARE QUARTER REPEAT ALARM FRENCH CARRIAGE CLOCK. This unusual clock strikes on a coiled gong behind the dial and alarm bell on the back plate stamped B. Having alarum function striking on a silvered bell, The white enamel dial with subsidiary dial for the alarum and Roman numerals. Brass case with Beveled glass to all sides and folding loop handle. The size of this clock is 12cm high, As can be seen the movement and case has been fully restored to its former glory and working very well, The platform escapement has been changed during the restoration. All the glass is without damage, The white dial has a very very fine hairline crack that runs just beside the subsidiary dial barely visible at all, Apart from that a very nice and unusual carriage clock.
