Beautiful Large Cased Sterling Silver Queen Victoria Medal 1897 Diamond Jubilee. Medal Details. Beautiful EXTRA LARGE Version Cabinet Toned 56 mm . 925 SOLID STIRLING SILVER Medal in Official Royal Mint Box of Issue. Produced for Queen Victorias Diamond Jubilee in 1887. Medal has Beautiful Dark Natural R A I N B O W Toning and is in lovely Untouched Uncirculated Original Condition. A stunning looking piece I have handled and sold about 6 of these before and this is by far the Best I have seen..looks even better in natural daylight. The Box is in very good condition but missing the small ribbon as is usually the way see photos. Young Head The reverse depicts the famous young head portrait of Queen Victoria with the date of her ascension to the throne (1837) below. Veiled Head The obverse features the veiled bust of the 'old head' Victoria Maker: T. Brock Medallist at the Royal Tower Mint, Size: 56mm of medal.
