100% Genuine document. Queen Victoria 1st stage patent signed by her majesty herself and dated 9th of june 1838. and states in the first year of are reign. Is also countersigned. The document is in very good condition for its age apart fom some small holes on the centre fold (can be seen in photos).The Invention is by Wilton Wood, of liverpool, for an improved method of making bands and tackling to be used in drawing, turning, or carrying machinery. After some research i found this patent was granted on the 26th of july 1838.The 7th pic shows the paper stamp for one pound ten shillings. The last two show the paper water marks, one is of a lady holding a spear with a shield resting on her this is circled with a crown above. the other states J&M 1837.This document along with my other historical listings is all being sold on behalf of my father from his collection. please view my other items and also add me to your favourite sellers if this interests you.
