Original engraving titled, "Residence of D.R. Finlayson, 2 Miles East of Quincy, Plumas Co. Cal." It measures 7" x 10 5/8" with light edge toning, and some light foxing and stains on the right margin, otherwise it is in very good condition, and will frame nicely. This is from a book titled, " Illustrated History of Plumas, Lassen & Sierra Counties, California" published by Fariss & Smith, San Francisco, 1882. It was published to encourage people to homestead to these counties in Northern California. I purchased this loose, and it had been torn or cut from the book, so it has an uneven edge at top. This is a 129 year old engraving, a wonderful piece of Plumas County historic memorabilia, nice framed for home, or office.
