The book's title translates as 'Fire falling from the sky' and it tells the stories of German Fighters and Bombers, Pilots, Crews, Ground Crew and its planes on all fronts (mostly in Poland, France, England, Italy (Sicily) and Africa (DAK - Deutsches Afrikakorps). All these stories are supported by a good number of scarce photographs (most of which I have not seen published anywhere else), among which is a number of superb full page portrait photographs of Luftwaffe Knights Cross Holders. The book is hardcover and has a total of 198 numbered pages. It measures 8 3/8" x 5 3/4". Unpacked weight of the book is 0.45kg. Used condition. Wear to the covers.
