Here is the latest new ancient Roman Patina glass chards from the studios of R2rockz! This is a large ancient Roman glass vessel base piece dated(1st to 2nd century BC). The piece featured is guaranteed ancient Roman glass found in Isreal. This parcel comes with a certificate of authenticity.The surface is left just as it was found or excavated from the archeaological digs. The patina is a natural result of the glass being burried in the ground for ages, baked by the sun or exposed to the elements. The patina shows multi colors reflecting off the backdrop of these magnificent glass chards. It can be drilled, wire wrapped or set into fabricated jewelry or even cut up into smaller pieces. It weighs a total of 34 grams and measures 3 3/16" x 3 1/8". Typically I would save these for my own jewelry work but am working toward another parcel of glass so I am sharing.................my loss is your gain.
