J. RABONE Boxwood & Brass Folding Rule - Special Scales This is a 24" J. RABONE & SONS MAKERS - MADE IN ENGLAND four-fold narrow sized boxwood and brass Carpenters' rule with arch joint. This rule was manufactured by J. Rabone & Sons as a SPECIAL order item. The outside of the rule is marked with advertising "E. VAN NOORDEN CO. - BOSTON - MFRS. VANCO PRODUCTS" in red lettering. The inside of the rule is graduated in standard inches along with a scale that goes from 0 to 32 over 24 inches (every 3/4" mark). This special scale is also marked in red. I rate this rule in FINE CONDITION overall. It has all 3 alignment pins and folds up nice and tight. Most all of the original finish remains. All the numbers and markings are clear and easy to read.
