You are looking at a picture/bookplate of and autographed in pencil by the following great Battle of Britain Spitfire fighter pilot: Squadron Leader Nigel Rose AE : Flew Spitfires with 602 squadron during the during the Battle of Britain. Claiming a Me 110 destroyed on August 25th then on September 7th he shared the destruction of a Me 109. On the 29th October he destroyed a Me 109. He was posted to 54 squadron at Hornchurch in September 1941. Then when tour expired he was sent to 57 OTU at Hawarden. In January 1944 he joined 14 APC at Ayr, and was posted to Middle East in July 1944 and stayed until end of war. The item is in v/good condition .This item is a must for anyone interested in fighter pilot autographs.
