Up for sale is a Royal Air Force Flight Lieutenant's Mess Dress Uniform. This uniform kit includes a jacket, waste-coat, and trousers all of which are in good shape ready for current wear to the officers' mess, a re-enacting event, or historic display. This said note the Mess Dress Medals, Shirt, Bowtie, and Dummy in the displayed pictures are only shown for affect and are NOT included in this sale. This uniform was custom made with an inner label reading:Specially Made by AlkitCambridge Circus W.C. 2 and in the Provinces for: F/O B. Steer No. 14678 25/9/64 The size of the jacket is approx. a 40 R and the trousers are approx. 34 x 34.
