What a great find! I purchased this from a railroad collectors estate. This auction is for a dining car "sugar" by Roger Bros. Silver Co 1847.for C.S. railroad. It says silver soldered 12 oz and the #4 after the C.S.. It stands about 4" at its tallest point and is about 6 1/2" wide. This is a nice large sugar that is in outstanding condition inside and out. T are no dings or dents and the pice is quite heavy as nickel silver is. Check out my other "Railroad creamer" on auction this week, they make a lovely pair for serving and for the collector!
