RAILWAY VIEWS, published by the Locomotive Publishing Co, undated but about 1905 to 1910, hardback, good condition. This book consists of numbers 1 to 8 of the LPC "Railway Views" series bound into one book with an official picture of thew GER "Decapod" 0-10-0T on the front cover. Each section compries 11 black and white photographs either of steam locomotives or general railway scenes going back to the 1870's or so. Most are of main line British companies but they include a few narrow and broad gauge Irish, one of the Festiniog and a few of overseas railways. No photographs are attributed to any person but many are believed to have been taken by Dr. T.Rice Budden.
