This is my first bike bought from our local bike shop (Bob Allports of Thorne, Doncaster) around 1970. It's been stored in a dry garage for the last twenty years so is in relatively good condition for it's age, though there is rust to the paintwork and the chrome is pitted. Other things to report are:- - the horizontal frame is detached from the upright just under the seat (easy to weld) - the front mudguard is attached and the chromework is good, but one of the attachment points is loose - the rear brake cable is missing as is the gear lever knob - the seat is in relatively good condition with a knick in one side (see photo) and a tear that will repair underneath -
