Raleigh Chopper MK1/2 Crossover Handlebars - Re-chromed and superb These original Raleigh Chopper Mk1/2 Crossover Handlebars are really rare. They are the same size as the 1-piece MK2 bars that replaced them, so much narrower than the MK1 bars they replaced. (they make look a slightly different shape in Pic1, but that is just the camera angle) I have had then re-chromed and fitted to one of my bikes for around a year and they sill look brilliant. At some point, someone has drilled a hole through the middle of the mount plate - I can only imagine that they may have been using a nan Raleigh Stem, which was not tight enough, so this was an attempt to fix them from spinning. The hole is obviously hidden once fitted to a bike, which is why I didn't bother having it welded-up when they were re-chromed.
