Rams Horn Shepherd Crook. Twist Hazel 52" Shooting, Sheep Trialing, Stalking or Fishing (wading) which can be shortened if necessary. No woodworm in shank and everything is tight and ready to use. I have just finished making this Crook today and treating the Hazel with Dannish Oil. It is easy to imagine the first crook being made by some shepherd who having picked up a ram's horn and fitting to a twist hazel shank to make a walking staff as a decorative badge of office. Lovely for hill walking or sheep dog trialing is a large Crook. Why use those awful chinese aluminum things when you can have a handmade balanced Crook for walking country lanes or across fields? Also nice for beating on shoots or for a gun to help aid walking to his peg. This Crook would be good for Deer Stalking as it is 52" in lenght A good strong Crook for very day use The delivery has to be Parcel Force as its over 3 mitre in length
