Top cutting edge sharpened. 4 ½"-3/4" leather handle. Brass single hilt. Duralumin butt cap. A smaller Bowie-type knife for sporting uses. (Wt. 7-10 oz.) My summary: oooooh.... this is nice!! For consideration : one super looking, nicely optioned, slightly older Randall 12-6 Sportsman Bowie . 's the breakdown on this exceptional knife: 6" tool steel blade, single brass hilt, beautiful straight stag handle, and a brass "crow's beak" butt cap. Survey says: sweet!! The brass package (hilt and butt cap) and stag look really nice together. The stag has just a hint of red color -- it's really, really nice. The sheath is a dark chocolate brown Johnson smoothback that's nearly new. Just a check at the throat -- no significant handling, etc. The sheath is correctly
