Randall Made Knife Non-Catalog Model "FIREMAN" 4" Stainless Steel BladeSingle Nickel Silver HiltBlack Micarta Handle w/full finger gripThong Hole"High-Ride" Leather Sheath Separate Sharpening Hone This knife is MINT...just received. The pictures tell the story. As I unwrapped the knife, I took the pictures. You can't get any newer! It comes with the sheath, a separate sharpening stone and original wrapping paper, to include a care/maintenance pamphlet...it has never been used, carried, sharpened or placed in the sheath. It is a beautiful Randall made knife with a black micarta handle that has an aluminum metal thong hole and a full finger grip. The 4" blade is made from 1/4" stock stainless steel stock and has thumb placement notches on the top for the first inch forward of the single finger hilt. I'm partial to the 5" bladed Randalls for all kind of reasons, mostly however because I believe the 5" blade to be the perfect size for the "working knife"...small enough to carry and handle efficiently, yet big enough for any job. However this Randall, with it's 4" blade is one tough monkey, a real gut buster...a tool for someone who has to cut or stab something thick or tough...with a full tang blade that is ground from 1/4" stainless steel stock so it WILL NOT BREAK or fail the user under any condition. I'm an old Vietnam era grunt.
