I believe it was in 2004 or maybe 2005 when Randall dealer Tom Clinton put together this Vietnam Veteran special limited edition of 500 knives with RMK... someone please give me the correct time if that's not correct. It is the model 14 with a stainless blade and is engraved with the knife number ( 186 in this case ) and Vietnam Veteran on the reverse side of the knife.Nickle silver hilt and green canvas micarta finger groove handle with thong.Custom roughback riveted and specially marked Sullivan sheath.Knife is as brand new , never used or sharpened since leaving the RMK shop. Comes wrapped in the original white paper as sent from the shop. Sold to the highest bidder with no reserve. Please see our other auctions for more great knives and other collectibles. Thanks to a couple of astute Randall guys, it has been pointed out to me that this knife should have come with a "Vietnam Veteran" marked carrying case, a two-tone grey stone and gold lanyards. I bought this knife from Gary Clinton at the Tulsa gun show last November and not only did I fail to realize those items were missing but also,Gary forgot to give them to me. I have called Gary and he says he has those items and will mail them to me. So, I will forward them on to the high bidder as soon as I get them. Thanks Miles and Robert ! Another interesting fact that Gary pointed out is that Pete Hamilton was doing the block letter engraving on the knives. Pete died before finishing the project and Randall took over but did the Script style lettering. So this knife is one that was engraved by Pete and there are fewer of these in this style. For those that might not know, Gary is Tom Clintons son that has taken over Tom's Randall dealership.
